About The Vera Report

I am not a doctor or a researcher. I am someone who reads supplement labels carefully and checks claims against published research before spending money.

I started this site after trying to work out whether a supplement I had seen advertised was actually worth buying — and finding almost nothing between breathless ads and vague articles that never named a single study.

What I do on every review

I read the label. I look up each active ingredient. I find what peer-reviewed research exists on it, and I note where the evidence is thin or contested — because it often is.

When studies disagree, I say so instead of picking the side that sells better. When a product has no independent research behind its specific formula, I say that too.

What I am currently covering

Right now I am working through oral health and the mouth microbiome, mostly because it is an area where the marketing has run far ahead of the science. Other categories will follow.

How this site is funded

Some links here are affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission if you buy through them at no additional cost to you. That is how the site stays free.

It does not change what the research says, and you will find plenty of products reviewed here that I do not recommend. Full details on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

If I get something wrong, tell me. I will correct it. You can reach me at contact@verareport.com.
